A flouncy skirt of lavender-blue double petals surround the cushion center adorned with tiny white stamens (the pins). Blossoms rise to 18” on sturdy, slender stems from summer into fall.
Scabiosa is perfect for pots, rock gardens and tucked in as a specimen for a surprise of color. One of the longest flowering perennials, multiple pincushion-shaped flowers are produced all season. Very compact – a garden favorite.
