A Smattering of Freckles
Cream to white petals tipped with fuchsia pink are randomly sprinkled with tan freckles toward the flower center. Who can resist freckles? Straight stems and countless buds yield superb cut flowers. The strong stems of Asiatic Lilies require no staking and are not particular about soil as long as it drains well.

Lily General Information

Exotic looking, but not fussy. Asiatic Lily are the first Lilies (Lilium) to bloom in summer in a wide variety of bold or pastel colors. Will multiply quickly. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Lily Plant Care

Asiatic Lilies like direct sunlight and well-drained soil. Remove faded flowers, but do not remove or cutback stalks until complete dieback has occurred in the fall, it could weaken the bulb. Divide plants every 3 or 4 years in spring when new growth emerges.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!
