The most profusely blooming Miscanthus we have seen. Huge burgundy seedheads rise in late summer and remain standing into and even through winter. Lush green blades have a silver midrib. Winter transforms foliage to tan with glistening silvery plumes.
This spectacular variety was developed in Ontario, Canada by Martin Quinn and is quite cold hardy - it's worth a try in zone 4. Miscanthus Huron Sunrise is perfect for adding textural interest to your garden landscape. Attractive in large containers or plant in mass for screening.
