Strong, Fast Rebloomer
Hydrangea Can Do! entertains with high-energy displays of abundant semi-double, star-like florets to form showy lacecap flowers through frost. Bright silver-pink flowers or periwinkle-violet depending on soil pH. Flowers are produced on entire length of stem, not just at the top. A really big show! The Let’s Dance® Hydrangea Series raises the bar of reblooming hydrangea with careful evaluation for cold weather performance, vivid flower color and extra attractive foliage. H. Can Do™! blooms on both old wood and new growth to produce flowers giving resistance to late freezes and an extended bloom season. Perfect for cut or dried flower arrangements. Prefers dappled shade or morning sun with afternoon shade. Color can be affected by soil pH.

Hydrangea General Information

Hydrangea are superb in the border for summer and autumn color. This shade-tolerant shrub is perfect for under trees and in the shadows of buildings. Provides winter interest too if flowers are left on. Great for indoor decorating as their flowers are easily dried. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Hydrangea Plant Care

Color can be affected by soil pH. Easiest pruning is to simply remove any dead canes that are not sprouting leaves in the spring. Compact habit requires little pruning, but best time is after it is done blooming if shaping is desired.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!
