This Dancing Queen deserves the spotlight with its sunny-yellow 13” long foliage. Its prominent veining and ruffled leaf margins create beautiful lines during its season-long recital. Foliage may transition later in the season to a softer yellow. Pale lavender flowers perform in mid-summer.
Hosta thrive in shade, even in competition with tree roots, hurray! It is hard to find a perennial garden that won't benefit from incorporating some Hosta. They must perform superbly in zones 4-7, have exemplary garden presence and performance, a long season of appeal in the landscape, have leaves of good substance, and demonstrate a greater resistance to common garden pests.
