Wedge-shaped, bright yellow skirts of layered petals twirl around a large chocolate-colored, spherical cone. Native to North America, they are prolific late season bloomers. So sweet! Like ballerinas dancing in bright tutus throughout the foliage.

Compact and bushy, covered in flowers; butterflies adore Helenium. Tiny Dancer is stunning in the garden or cut some for attractive, long-lasting flower arrangements.

Helenium General Information

Helenium are North American natives with prolific flowering. A good backbone plant for the late summer and fall border. Great for cutting and attractive to butterflies. Plant it and enjoy the show. Carefree. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Helenium Plant Care

Does not usually need staking. Best in a moist soil, but will tolerate short periods of dry. Plants may be pinched or cut back in early spring to encourage branching. Disease and pest free. Easy to divide in spring or fall every 3-4 years.
