Sweetly fragrant flowers that change from white, to pink, to deep rose-all typically appearing at the same time from April to frost. The foliage is more upright, forming a jumble of green-blue leaves with flowers dancing above. Dianthus First Love is one of our longest flowering perennials.
Common name, Pinks, is due to the intricate fringed petals that appear as though they were cut with pinking shears. Mounding foliage is attractive, even in winter. Plant Select® varieties are durable, resilient and vibrant.
