Cultural and Growing Info is provided below.

A Galaxy of Star-Shaped Blossoms
This Star of Bethlehem, with its two foot pyramidal spikes of white star-shaped flowers, provides weeks of long-lasting flowers. Openly-spaced along the stems, the flowers unfurl from bottom to top. The genus name from the Greek word ornis meaning bird and gala meaning milk is appropriately named as the white flowers resemble a flock of birds as they take flight and soar up the stem. Grass-like foliage emerges in clumps in spring; however, it will begin to disappear shortly before the flowers bloom. A well-behaved garden resident as it will spread politely. Also ideal for naturalizing in grass, meadows or a woodland edge.
